God’s Judgment Begins

We would like to set the stage for the biggest spiritual shift the world has ever seen since Jesus died on the cross. It takes place between 1798AD and 1844AD. God’s judgment of the Earth begins. The time period of 1798 to 1844 marks the end of the two longest prophecies in the bible. The prophecies are found in the book of Daniel in chapters 8 and 9. All the details of these prophecies are presented in “Daniel Chapters 8-9 Part 2”, and “The Little Horn Part 1 and 2”. Please read these articles first to get the most of this article. The first prophecy is about the Little Horn goes from 538AD to 1798AD and the second one is the longest prophecy in the bible; starting in 457BC and ends in 1844AD, a total of 2,300 years. Scripture is really clear that at the end of these two prophecies, God’s judgment of the Earth begins.

Daniel, 7:9-10 As I looked, thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took his seat. His clothing was as white as snow; the hair of his head was white like wool. His throne was flaming with fire, and its wheels were all ablaze. A river of fire was flowing, coming out from before him. Thousands upon thousands attended him; Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him. The court was seated, and the books were opened.
Then I continued to watch because of the boastful words the horn was speaking. I kept looking until the beast was slain and its body destroyed and thrown into the blazing fire.

To make the claim of God’s judgment of the Earth begins, one must be certain of four things.

1. You must recognize who the Little Horn represents.
2. In the verse above, “the beast was slain” so we should see signs that his reign has ended.
3. Rev 13:3 The Beast received a fatal wound that was healed. So although the beast was slain, it was allowed to come back to life.
4. There must be some type of evidence that God is involved. Since only God can do supernatural healings and miracles, if healing and miracles break-out God’s on the move.

Setting the Background

In 33AD Jesus dies on the cross and opens the door for us to be Spirit filled with resurrection life.  The early church was filled with a time of miracles and mass evangelism. By 300AD the church became powerless and the Little Horn came into power around 538AD. This led us directly into the Dark Ages when being killed for your faith was a daily event. It’s like God gave both the world and the heavenly angles the chance to see what would happen to the earth if Satan had his way. We’re referring to the 1,260 year prophecy about the reign of the Antichrist where God decides to wait before he goes into action. Death and destruction were everywhere.

Scripture says that the real church (Woman) was given two wings of an eagle and taken away to the desert where she would be cared for and hidden for a time, times and half a time Rev 12:13. The desert would be described as a non-populated area. The two wings of the eagle describe a country. Since the eagle is the National emblem of America, It sounds like the United States was created by God to be a refuge for those fleeing religious persecution. Think about what was happening in the 1500's and 1600's, millions of people were fleeing persecution and coming to the United States. When God is talking about the reign of the Anti-Christ or protecting the real believers. both are happening at the same time. Notice the time period is always 42 months, 1260 days, or a time, times, and half a time. All are the same time period and the same event, just looking at it from two different perspectives.

According to Daniel as soon as the reign of the antichrist is over the books are opened and God’s judgment begins. God’s judgments are a little different than our current perspective as God’s judgments are restorative. Too many people think that God is going to bring destruction, but God has another plan. That would be to restore the Earth back to its original purpose. God and man living together in perfect harmony. So God’s judgment refer to judging and exposing evil (both spiritual and physical) for what it is and turning our hearts back to God.

The Little Horn reign

In the article entitled, “The Little Horn, Part 2” we found out that the Roman Catholic church is the only organization that fulfills all 12 prophecies given in scripture. This is not a new revelation as many of the reformers who lived between 1500 and 1798 had the same opinion. They are the true heroes of the faith. They lived in a time when raising your voice against the Roman Catholic Church led to certain death. That’s why most of them had long beards; death was quicker when being burned at the stake. These heroes activated their faith and did not hold back when facing certain death to bring people into the truth.
The current church recognizes this time period as the Reformation (1500-1700AD) with the  Great Awakening starting in the 1700’s. The bible was finally translated into the common language and salvation by faith was being preached again.

God said that if these days (The Little Horn) were not shortened, no one would survive, so 300 years before the official end of the Little Horn’s Reign (In the 1500’s) God decided to raise up revivalists to change the shape of society. All of the following revivalist made it clear to everyone that the Roman Catholic church was indeed, The Little Horn.

The Little Horn’s reign comes to an end
As noted in the previous articles, in 1798 the French General Berthier was sent to Rome, to arrest the Pope and placed him in prison. It’s interesting that this happened exactly 1,260 years after the Roman Catholic Church defeated the third horn. Unfortunately, placing one person in jail from a world-wide operation is not enough to dismantle the entire organization.

Standing against the church was no small task as the Pope and many others used as much manipulation as they could. First of all they claimed that they spoke on Gods behalf and second, there was a thing called Cannon Law; since they spoke for God, they claimed that Cannon Law was higher than any law imposed by the State. Heads of state were manipulated into granting the Popes request.

During this time period the Roman Catholic Church was responsible for all kinds of Torture and Physical abuse. Up to the fifth century AD Christians seem to have an inkling that there was something morally questionable about torture and killing. Christian torturers and executioners generally delayed their own baptism until just before death. The Church assured them that any sins of which they might have been guilty were thus washed away, and no lasting harm was done to their immortal souls. For the next thousand years and more, when Christianity was at the height of its power, the Church regarded brutality and killing as perfectly acceptable, and no such precautions were thought necessary. Mutilation, branding and flogging were commonplace. The Church found it acceptable for people to be flogged for the most trivial offences, even for things that are now not considered offences at all. Amongst them were vagrancy, drunkenness, drinking on a Sunday, having an illegitimate baby, even for contracting smallpox.

In England, the provisions of Magna Carta (which had been denounced by the Church) declared torture to be abhorrent to the principle of English freedom, and the Common Law did not permit its use. When two Inquisitors were sent to England in 1310 to extract confessions from Knights Templars, they insisted on using torture. The king allowed some torture to be applied "according to ecclesiastical law", but apparently not enough to satisfy the Inquisitors. The Pope wrote to the King:

We hear that you forbid torture as contrary to the laws of your land; but no state can override Cannon Law, Our Law; therefore I command you at once to submit these men to torture...Withdraw your prohibition and we grant you remission of sins

Clement was asking for the Templars to be taken to Ponthieu, in Edward's French territories, where the Inquisitors could work normally. It seems that the Inquisitors could not get the results they wanted in England because the civil authorities were insisting that the rules be followed, and that the tortures applied should not cause permanent injury or violent effusion of blood. These rules were routinely ignored in France, and nearly all French Templars either died under torture or else confessed to charges put to them.

In the seventeenth century James Felton defied Archbishop Laud's threats of torture on the rack and the matter was referred to the courts. As a result the common law was confirmed and torture was definitively declared to be unlawful in England. In 1689 the Bill of Rights explicitly prohibited its use, so it was now banned by statute as well.

Other States followed their example and in 1740 Frederick the Great abolished torture in Prussia. Italy abolished torture in 1786, France in 1789, and Spain in 1812.  The use of torture by Inquisitors was finally banned by Pope Pius VII in 1816. Notice that all this activity is happening right around the 1798 to 1844 time period we’re talking about. The very fabric of culture was changing. Thanks to the fearless heroes of faith we just mentioned, the heads of state rose up and took their stand against the Roman Catholic Church.

The Papal States were finally disbanded and no longer recognized as a country in 1870. All this activity is nothing short of a fulfillment of prophecy and the end of the Little Horn’s reign. You ask yourself, "The Roman Catholic Church seems to be alive and well?" That's because in 1929 the Vatican was re-established as a state, but without the same power as it had before. Before the 19th century the Roman Catholic Church ruled over many states, directed many wars, and persecuted the real church. Now that it's been re-established, it has to follow the law of humanity, not control them. Look at the 7-headed dragon in Revelation 13:3, it says, one of the heads of the beast seemed to have a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed. The interpretation of who the dragon is can be found in Rev 17:9, the seven heads are seven hills which the woman sits. They are also 7 kings. We won't talk about the 7 hills that the Vatican sits on (Rome) but the heads are also 7 kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come.

The book of Revelation was written in 70AD so the interpretation needs to be resolved from that date. Since the 7 heads are 7 kings, the description of the beast helps us understand who these kings were: Rev 13:2 the beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had the feet of a bear and mouth of a lion. All these symbols are used in Daniel to describe coming kingdoms, in revelation all the symbols are in one beast because 5 of those kingdoms have already been here. So the 5 heads (kings) that have already come are: Egypt, Babylon, Meads, Persia, and Greece. The current King is Rome and there is one king to come which would be the Little Horn. It was the Little Horns head on the beast that had a fatal wound that was healed.

Spiritual Awakening with Healings and Miracles
One more piece of evidence of God stepping into human affairs, judging the Little Horn, then starting a spiritual revival in the church is the evidence of Healing and Miracles showing up in the same time period between 1798 and 1844. Now remember, planet Earth had just gone through the Dark Ages and anyone standing up for God was risking his life. Society was also void of healings and miracles, but in 1845 all that started to change.  

It’s interesting that the very first Healing Revival started in 1843. It looks like God was looking over his word getting ready to fulfill it at the appointed time.

Kevin Dedmon did an extensive search into history and put together a poster called, Heritage of Healing Poster. It’s very interested that the very first healing movements he found through-out history started around 1843. We have Johann Blumhard who started seeing healings in 1843, Ethan Otis Allen in 1846, and Dorthea Trudel in 1851. Kevin has no knowledge of this article so let’s not think that he was looking for something in this time period. God truly did shift the spiritual atmosphere of the planet between 1798 and 1844.

We believe that when God entered into Judgment that the first seal in the book of Revelation was opened. There are 4 descriptions of the court being seated and taking action; Daniel 7:4-14, Daniel 7:19-22, Daniel 7:23-26, Daniel 8:5-25. It’s the last detailed event in Daniel and the first event in Revelation chapter 4-5. Once again Revelation opens up in the courtroom of heaven and all of heaven looked for someone worthy to open the Seals. The lamb who had been slain was found worthy to open the Seals and bring forth judgment.

Before going to print on this claim I was asking the Lord for some confirmation, so while at a conference I decided to bounce it off one of the main speakers, the man responsible for the Passion Translation of the bible, Brian Simmons. We started to talk about the end of Daniel and how it leads directly into Revelation. He was also of the same opinion. During the conversation, I got a little theatrical and said,” In 1798 the books were opened, and as God sat on the throne, He said Open the first seal”. The presence of God became so strong that my body was going weak. At first I didn’t even know what hit me, but as I continued the story, I ended up going down under the power of God. Then God whispered to me, “You got it right”.

Now if all this is true, then we should be able to look into the 1800’s and see if we can find evidence for the first seal being opened. We’ll take a look at this in the next article called, “Revelation, The First Seal is opened”.
